Wow. I just went to search on the HP Lexicon, and it is gone. I know there's not a lot of Vander Ark love out there in Potterland right now, but... wow. You have to admit that it was a good resource. I'm going to miss the character sketches and the ability to bring up different timelines.

I was at the local Barnes & Noble around 1:30pm this afternoon, and already 5 or 6 kids were lined up waiting for the Potter party & DH release. The New York Times has a nice article today about Jim Dale, the actor who performs the Harry Potter series on audiobooks in the U.S. It includes links to MP3s of excerpts of Dale's reading from SS, PoA, and HBP. Nothing spectacular, but very nice. This gig has certainly made his career.
